How did you think of engaging with bicycle “rebuilding”? The pastime started with a coffee drunk with a friend, who had just bought his new bike. I found the opportunity to bring mine as well – of 30 years then – to make a ride. This old, destroyed bike inspired me to fix it from the beginning. Its name “Rebirth”.

What was you first attempt? While searching for old bicycles, I came across four handmade models of the Greek riding National Teams. There was only their framework, so I came up with the idea of creating four special and very qualitative bicycles from the beginning.

As vice-mayor of Tourism, Public Relations and Electronic Governing, you have made efforts to create a multicultural Thessaloniki. The policy followed by the Boutaris administration has managed to change the introvert identity given to the town. This was accomplished with an opening policy to the countries having a cultural reference to Thessaloniki like Russia – due to the orthodoxy, as well – Turkey and Israel

Thessaloniki participates in the network “Diplomacy of Towns”. Where does this initiative aim at? Through the “Diplomacy of Towns”, which has been exerted for the last two years, we have approached towns of the larger area of the Balkans.
